vol. 2 Episode 40
Greetings,
We’ve missed you all!
Elisabeth and I are back from our hiatus with news from the Ensouled Universe. In the break, I moved from the East Coast to Big Sky country, aka Montana, and am more settled than I have been in a while, thankfully. Even the acoustics of this recording sound like there is a big sky overhead.
The quality of life vis-a-vis the land is at issue here in Montana, as a group of 16 youths challenge the entire legislature and governor in court, suing for their right to breathe clean air, drink clean water, and live in a state that lives up to its promise not to exacerbate the deleterious effects of climate change, a promise enshrined in the state’s constitution.
It points to a larger trend I have been tracking that includes demanding legal rights for Nature. Elisabeth and I have the details in this episode.
Also in this episode, we cover the recent arraignment of former US president Donald Trump, and why I predict he will face penalties only for a sliver of his many crimes, and why it will not be the most egregious ones. Hint: it is to do with his membership in the political class, which has nothing to do with party lines.
Still, astrology can help us track how the man will be treated by the courts, as Elisabeth explains.
Plus, back in March, I predicted surprise and shock lay ahead for former Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and so it has come to pass. We review the latest as the embattled ex-minister was recently arrested and released.
She now faces calls for her resignation from her role as a member of the Scottish Parliament in the wake of a financial scandal that also embroils her husband, Peter Murrell, former CEO of the Scottish National Party. Once again, we see that astrology pointed the way toward exactly what is playing out.
Also, Elisabeth has the astroweather report for the week ahead, and a look back at what led up to this moment.
True believers and other virtue signals of myopia
In the course of recording this episode, Elisabeth told a story that bloomed into a fruitful discussion about why people surrender their powers of observation to others, both on the left and the right, who don’t have their best interests at heart.
It’s a worthwhile conversation that doesn’t necessarily color within the lines of astrology, but does speak to the ethos of this podcast which is to think for yourself.
Here’s a snippet:
The entire conversation will be available early next week for patron subscribers. If you’d like to become one, here’s how:
Use the Substack app for best results!
For listeners who’ve had difficulty finding us on sundry podcats platforms, it seems the best solution is to download and listen to us on the Substack app. That is especially true if you’d like to have access to extras like the conversation referenced above. I personally use the app and find it is bug-free (well, I haven’t encountered any), and has a great support team behind it, as I discovered when investigating a few tech issues for subscribers.
Here’s the link to download it:
Lovely to be back! Looking forward to seeing you around our little corners of the internet. For Elisabeth, that’s elisabethgrace.com and for me it’s ensouledastrology.com.
Peace,
xWhitney (and Elisabeth, too!)
