The psychology of unresolved sexual urges in politics comes to light

Here are the promised bawdier cuts from Episode 23 of our podcast where Elisabeth and I ponder the role sexual innuendo and rumors play into politics.

Specifically: rumors heard on the street from where I have been strolling lately here in South Florida, about what the intensely anti-gay, anti-anything non-binary sexual stance of Republican governor, Ron DeSantis might suggest he frets about in private (his chart is below).

Plus, a recent sex scandal involving former Trump White House and Conservative operative, Matt Schlapp. It’s just one in a long line of such scandals involving a prominent man in the Republican party whose reputation is largely based on demanding tight public controls on how others “should” express their sexuality, himself caught in a web of lies to do with his own homosexual activities. Schlapp is being sued by a former Herschel Walker campaign staffer who says Schlapp sexually assaulted him.

The astrology around this includes the recent Mars and Venus square, which denotes times when, among other things, we might feel provoked into defending what we value sensually, or just outright be aggressive in our methods of getting it. Also…
