vol. 2 issue 18
Greetings,
It’s true. I am tired. Maybe you’ve noticed. It’s not my thyroid, it’s that I have had to struggle to keep up with many dramatic changes in my life lately. But I have been, and as I note in this podcast, I can thank my relationship to the stars, lucky and otherwise for that.
Feeling assaulted by corporate news is not one of the things that I have let be on my list of “things to deal with”. Instead, I have a coping strategy for living in this world among the corrupt shenanigans and dubious prophets of doom: I pay them no mind.
And if something does capture my attention, then what do I do? Read on…
The Department of They
Coping skills for shaggy times are what we talk about in this episode in our new segment, The Department of They (the DOT). It’s our response to a listener who took us to task for not giving enough practical astrological advice for living in these radically shifting times.
If you’d like some supplementary material on that segment, I wrote a more detailed explanation for how the media manipulated a moment from the campaign trail earlier this month by “failing” or more likely intentionally avoiding, to call out a senator who said inflammatory things.
We give you tools to see through this kind of malarkey and sail peacefully through it.
Evolution isn’t easy
Also in this episode, I remind us that a Pluto return such as what the US is currently experiencing isn’t supposed to be fun. It is supposed to be productive, though. Which is why as the world at large and the US in particular is shaking off the fleas, you can expect some things to get a little dirty.
Elisabeth adds:
“There’s a happy medium in here somewhere. The idea is to regroup and reform, not annihilate humanity for some spiritual experience.”
That’s evolution for you.
Saturn and the dominatrix
As Saturn is poised to turn direct, bringing with it news of debt and belt-tightening (as Elisabeth predicted when we recorded this earlier this week, and she has been proven correct),
we find ourselves discussing in this episode how to not play victim to a dominatrix. It’s soon to be Halloween season, after all, and that tends to bring out the leather clad nurses and cat women, so this bit might come in handy. Unless you like that kind of thing, then you do you.
And that’s really the thrust of this whole episode: take off the fearful costume demanded of you by the Powers That Be who run the status quo.
Don’t be afraid to come as you are: be yourself. That is powerful medicine.

And feel free to share this post and our podcast. Thank you to all our listeners!
Peace and hope,
xx Whitney and Elisabeth
