DOT: East Palestine train wreck update
Charts for rail carrier show persistent confusion, potential deception
DOT no. 3
Greetings,
About six weeks ago, we did a Department of They (DOT) case study on the chemical spill and toxic fire created by a Norfolk Southern Railway train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.
Specifically, we wanted to know if the planetary patterns contravened or supported what was being reported in the news and by Norfolk Southern.
Since our initial report, there has been some movement on the story. The Department of Justice on behalf of the Environmental Protection Agency, has sued Norfolk Southern for the “unlawful” pollution of the water, and the Ohio attorney general has also sued the rail carrier, stating this in the complaint:
Norfolk Southern’s accident rate has nearly doubled in the past 10 years, and at least 20 of those derailments since 2015 have involved chemical releases. The Derailment was entirely avoidable and the direct result of Norfolk Southern’s practice of putting its own profits above the health, safety, and welfare of the communities in which Norfolk Southern operates.
You can relisten to hear all the details and my calculus that includes not just astrology, but also my thought process as a former reporter and communications strategist, but my final assessment was that it seemed Norfolk Southern had acted negligently, and that it had skimped on safety to squeeze the margins to increase profits, per their own earnings call transcript, and per the separating conjunction of Venus and Neptune in Pisces that occurred two weeks after the accident when NS still had yet to issue a media advisory of their accounting of the accident.
In that DOT, I suggested that per the three DOT criteria1, it seemed as though the astrology of the accident horoscope, and of the planetary patterns that week when Venus was separating from a conjunction with Neptune (exact on Feb 16), that there was a misalignment of values per what was being said by the rail carrier.
Indeed, a look at the chart cast for the time of the call (below) suggests the extreme (Pluto) focus on money will soon prove problematic, given that there is an emphasis on the 12th house of what is unseen that can cause undoing.
This is amplified by Saturn, ruler of both the 12th and the 1st houses, sitting at 25 degrees of Aquarius, right on the Ascendant. In traditional astrology, this placement of Saturn is viewed with keen interest, as it can indicate a range of important insights.
Elisabeth reminded me that one of our respective teachers, Lee Lehman, says that when Saturn is on the Ascendant, “there is a piece of information which is crucial to the interpretation that either the querant didn’t share, or which they didn’t connect as beign important to the question.
Other ways to view this is that the person is deluded somehow, or is their own “worst enemy”, engaged in an activity that works against their best interests.
