OMG the crows in Tokyo--they're the size of enormous turkeys, it's amazing that they can even fly. And so LOUD. Visit me there so we can find your true soulmate. ❤️

Hi, Gail!

Thank you for your input. It is helpful to have the perspective of someone directly impacted by one of our newsmakers, in order that our assessments and interpretations are grounded in fact, first person experience, and astrology.

Time will tell about the influence of KG's gift on policy at Harvard etc., but speculation about him having vainglorious motivations, as we all agreed, seems a safe bet.

Anonymity is always an option, after all.

Thank you for taking the time to comment!

Gosh, Val. Wouldn't that be something? (The visit and the soulmate, I mean.) As for turkey crows, next time you see one, send me a photo! x

Just a little something about Ken Griffin. While I'm not a fan of most megamillion(or any, for that matter) hedge fund managers, Citadel was a large presence in Chicago and losing it was a blow. He was concerned about the increase in crime in the city which I'm thinking is what spurred his community contributions. He spoke about leaving a while before he actually did, trying to give the city a chance to improve. He wasn't in the media here for much else. I'm also sure Florida made it financially worthwhile for him leave. My gut sense was the naming of the building was an ego thing more than anything else. He is a Harvard graduate and also has given millions to bolster financial aid to Harvard as well, according to the Crimson. He's not a saint, he's a DeSantis supporter and there is an outcry at Harvard about that, but I'm suspecting he won't have much to say about departmental policy, But I've been wrong before.
